Storms Landscaping Service designs lighting systems to illuminate structures, trees, plants, and paths. Accent lighting is designed to create ambiance for nighttime beauty, and visual appeal. Additionally, path lighting provides safety in addition to visual appeal.
Lighting Plan
Lighting plans are mapped to provide lighting to the structure first, lighting the walls and architectural features. Thereafter, spots are mapped to light landscaping features and objects from different angles to accent silhouettes and provide drama. Special care is taken to properly distribute the night lighting so that the overall effect is soft and warm.
Lighting Installation
In new construction, much of the wiring is installed after final grading but before landscaping and sodding is installed. Lights are installed after the wiring is installed, followed by placement of light fixtures. Finally, the power source is installed with photo cell transformer for dusk to dawn operation.
