Landscape Plan

The planning phase of the project includes listening to the client, walking the property, observing the property from different angles, reviewing site plans, county codes, topography, and environmental regulations if applicable.  At this stage, the client provides ideas, budget priorities, direction on focal areas, dislikes and must-haves. Important questions are asked and answered, such as timelines for closings, budgeting and contact protocols for out-of-state clients.

Landscape Design

Designing the landscape plan tailored to the desires expressed in the planning phase requires diligence and skill.  The landscape plan proposal is presented together with the proposed budget and a color plant catalog, if desired.  The client has time to review, ask questions, and propose changes.  Changes to the plan are reflected in the final design, in addition to the final proposed budget.  If HOA approval is required, the level of hardcopies required by the HOA, whether prints, sealed plans, or otherwise are prepared and submitted according to the HOA protocol.  Storms Landscaping Service, Inc. has extensive experience working with clients to achieve required HOA approval.

Landscape Installation

After clients sign-off on the design proposal, installation can begin. Landscape installation occurs after the irrigation system work has occurred, if necessary. If heavy equipment is necessary, every precaution is observed to protect existing hardscape and site grade.    Executed change orders often occur at this stage to add additional plants, trees, rocks, etc.  If provided, sodding is the last installation step to occur in the landscape installation phase.  Storms Landscaping Services, Inc. properly insures our company, equipment and employees so clients can be assured of a protected and professional installation process.

Landscape Renovation

Renovation projects may include removing and disposal of existing undesirable materials, including sodding, trees, shrubbery, irrigation and hardscape matter. New landscape installation occurs after site clean-up as per the plan executed at client sign-off.

Tree Replacement

Trees become undesirable due to growth patterns, disease or demise. After larger trees are removed by a reputable tree service or arborist, Storms Landscaping Service, Inc. offers installation of new trees suitable for the same location or different location as the client desires. Storms Landscaping Service, Inc. also offers removal and disposal of smaller landscape trees together with installation of new trees as per the plan executed at client sign-off.

Sod Installation

Sod installation may be necessary for renovation projects or new landscape projects.  In either case, Storms Landscaping Service, Inc. offers a range of sodding options, including Bahia, St. Augustine varieties, Zoysia varieties and artificial turf.
